First word from me; Alhamdulillah. For all the ups and down that I have been through all these years. Finally I've been accepted to be one of the Petronas's scholar student. Thank you Petronas for giving me a chance to be in this wonderful family.
ok, tak payah nak acah mat saleh sangat. hehe. I just want to share with you macam mana my path from the interview session which being called PESP until ke hari award Petronas. So here goes the journey!
If I'm not mistaken, I think the interview session was been held on 21 April 2019. which means, baru je a few month ago, hehe. I'm a newbie in Petronas's family tbh. This PESP dijalankan di KDU college dekat shah alam? ke selangor? i forgot sorryyyyy. I'm in the 4 day of PESP, sebab PESP ni ada 6 days kot? (I think, sorry me terlupe jugak TvT)
Oh, I forgot to mention, btw I'm a Terengganu student so, a day before kami student dari terengganu, a few from us included me naik bas yang disediakan oleh pihak Yayasan Terengganu. Thank you sooo much YT, and we stayed in asrama yayasan for free. Alhamdulillah, thank you again YT. me love you hehe. So if you asked me about the accomodation, I recommended you to book a hotel a week before the pesp. but if you're a Terengganurian, don't worry be happy because our accomadation ditanggung beres oleh YT! tapi kalau nak pergi by own pun boleh je, no hal.
The next day, (which was the interview's day) we have to gather at KDU college early oke bcs ni untuk preparation sendiri. takdela sekmu ni nak debo. haha practice sikit lidah tu nk speaking especially if you're from Terengganu, kelantan, Kedah and else yang sangat berpegang teguh dengan loghat tu. I feel you TvT. The attire macam biasa. For boys, kemaja , bertie, berkasut gelap, blazer. For girls you can choose to wear either baju kurung (with or without blazer) or formal attire tu. depends , you do you oke? Please iron baju tu jangan bagi kedut pun. First impression sangat sangat sangat penting minnasannn. And the important things are your IC and your envelope. Make sure a day before these things dah ade kemas kemas dengan you ok.
To make it clear. This PESP have two phase. Phase 1 is online test which in simply words, ujian berkomputer la sis. Start pukul 9 pagi. I hour cpsq( ujian personaliti) then 1 hour tsa ( test dari cambridge which contain math, english and etc) so by 11 dah habis. .pukul 12 lunch and by 1.00pm will be the announcement successful candidates untuk proceed ke phase 2 which is SPA , the real interview with Petronas members.
Well, I have to tell you something. For those who didn't succeed the first phase. Unfortunately, you have to leave the PESP on the spot. Hanya yang berjaya sahaja yang boleh proceed . Anouncement tu akan diumumkan di slide mengikut alphabet, from A-Z. So anyone yang nama start with letter Z serious nervous gila nak tunggu. Please remember your number and group sebab tu akan digunakan di phase 2 nanti.
In this online test, make sure when you tengah jawab tu. Jawab dengan seikhlas hati. level jujur tu tahap mighty oke everyone. sebab masa ni, petronas akan detect either korang ni sesuai tak nak jadi petronas member. Ujian cpqs tu tak de la susah sangat pun, cuma jawab jujur je. Yang TSA tu, aku nasihatkan, practice la seminggu awal. Search je dekat google "Online TSA cambridge" berlambak ade. And pstt, soalan TSA ni mostly ada yang berulang dari tahun dlu. SO if you dah practice banyak and siap sekali imbas je dah tahu jawapan tu, lucky you. Srsly.
So, tu je kot untuk phase 1 dalam PESP ni. Next time, I will proceed to phase 2 pulak and I will give you some tips if you will have a interview in Petronas. Or whatever Iv sekalipun. Alhamdulillah, I've been used these tips and its really helps me alot. NI, I give you some example of TSA test in case kalau nak tengok tengok. hehe oke then, janee~
